Mid 19th century sea chest - must go

This is a beautiful antique chest constructed of wood with a hand hammered tin finish throughout the outside the chest. Reinforced wood slats on outside overlayed on top of the rim, making the chest very sturdy and durable. It’s likely why it’s maintained its shape for 150+ years.

I have the original latch lock for it but it’s been drilled. Ads provenance because this could have been an old pirates chest. Who knows!

It’s a statement piece and is absolutely beautiful. It’s very large as chest go so you’ll need to dedicate some space for it.
